The seasons of my garden
My garden is a microcosm that enriches my life. It makes me happy and makes me feel at ease. It is a bit like my world, with fluid borders, in which I feel free to contemplate the time that passes with serenity.
Serenity is a precious commodity, today more than ever.
Nature offers us infinite details to discover, something different every day. We just need to have the desire to continue to be amazed by what we see.

I thought of starting in winter, although for some this cold and silent season represents the end of the year.
For me, however, it is ideally a start. From the quiet sleep of nature to its gradual awakening. Besides, I like winter. For so many reasons that need not be explained here. Then, little by little, the colors begin to liven up the garden. At this time of the year there is a new colorful discovery every day.

Sometimes simple things are enough, like dining outdoors under the wisteria pergola. A rosemary plant, near the front door, for a Mediterranean touch and the name of our house in Gaelic for a scent of the Irish sea ...

Little guests come to feed themselves without fear, with swollen feathers to protect themselves from the cold. Late winter often disguises itself as late spring. But the plants and flowers in the garden are not fooled by the February sun ...
The wisteria begins to bloom. It is one of the aspects of the spring garden that I like the most. Of course, as always, there is the other side of the coin ... The wisteria sheds abundant petals every day and you have to sweep the terrace every morning.
Definitely Cicero was right when he said that If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need!
